Hyvinkää Evangelical Lutheran parish helps people learn about God and serve one another all through life.  Members of our congregation come from many different backgrounds. On this website, you can find out more about who we are, what we do, and what we believe in.

Church membership

At the end of 2019, 69 % of the residents of Hyvinkää were also members of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland.

Membership of the Church comes with both rights and responsibilities. As a member, you engage in the Church's mission of sharing the Gospel and helping people by participating in as many church activities as you like and paying the church tax. You are entitled to use all the services we offer, and you can make your voice heard by voting in parish elections every four years.
