Hyvinkää church was consecrated on 29th January 1961. Professor Aarno Ruusucvuori designed the Church; the interior design was carried out by Architect Antti Nurmesniemi and the ecclesiastical silver by Silversmith Bertel Gardberg.

Approximately 830 people fit in the 32-metre tall church. The basic shape of the church is a triangle with its different variations, depicting the Triune God. Prayers, the Bible and hymns and other ecclesiastical music guide your thoughts to Him. The church´s current 35-stop organ, which was made by Hansa Heinrich, was introduced in 1977.

The City of Hyvinkää donated the large oil painting painted by artist Jaakko Somersalo and it is located in the entrance hall.

Nowadays, the churchyard consists of Hyvinkää Church, the Work Centre and the Parish Centre, completed in 1990.
